Match Report-
After 4 consecutive losses, DD needed a win desperately. They were put into bat first by Virat Kohli of RCB. Warner and Sehwag who struggled against Rampaul first up, but managed to score in heaps off other bowlers. At the end of 5th over, DD were 42/0 ! In very next over Vinay Kumar took a a quick reflex catch to send Warner back. McDonald got Sehwag's prime wicket on his first ball of the innings... It was a soft dismissal. Juneja and Jayawardene then tried to compensate. In 12the over they lost Juneja, the score was 76/3! Rohrer perished after hitting 2 boundaries. Jayawardene also couldn't get going after that. He got out in 18th over for just 28(31)! Keday Jadhav and Irfan Pathan tried to maximize their score, which ended on 152 after 20 overs.
Delhi came back strongly, bowling a tight line and length. But both the opening batsmen were on the attack. But they couldn't last longer. New opening pair of Gayle and Rahul was back in the pavilion at the end of 4th over [32/2]! Kohli and De-Villiers then formed amazing partnership, rotating the strike getting odd boundary! When these two were batting, it looked as if RCB will win the game comfortably! RCB needed 27 runs off 30 balls. Umesh Yadav bowled brilliant 16th over, giving away just 3 runs. On the last ball of that over, AB De ran himself out. Still it was RCB's game with 7 wickets in hand and just 24 runs required. Andrew McDonald went for a "Duck"! Nadeem gave away just 1 run and took wicket of McDonald, in the 17th over. Morne Morkel came steaming in to bowl the 18th over. He gave 6 runs and on the last ball Arun Kathik was run out. In the penultimate over, Umesh Yadav got the wickets of Kohli and Syed Mohammad on consecutive balls. RCB required 12 off last over with Rampaul and Vinay Kumar on strike. Rampaul hit six off the first ball off Irfan Pathan. But Pathan came back strongly and gave just 4 runs on next 4 balls. 2 required off last ball, Rampaul missed the ball, which wnet to the keeper, who couldn't throw the ball and get the batsman run-out, they completed 1 run, and the match was tied once again!!! Kohli looked very disappointed.
It was time for the second super over of IPL-6!! Gayle and De Villiers came out to bat. Umesh Yadav was given the responsibility of bowling the super over. His first 4 balls just went for 3 runs. He bowled some good block hole balls. On next 2 balls, which were length balls, De Villiers got 12 runs. Which meant DD required 16 runs to win!
Many surprises were still to come. DD sent Warner and Rohrer to open. Rampaul got the wicket of Warner of the first ball. Now there was the surprise, SEHWAG was not chosen for the super over to bat!! Instead Irfan Pathan walked in. He hit 2nd ball of the over for 4 and missed the 3rd. Requiring 12 off last 3 balls, Pathan hit the ball for 6, but could just managed single on the next ball. That meant Rohrer needed to hit the final ball for six to win the game for DD. Rampaul bowled Rohrer on the last ball, that ended the match and RCB won the match eventually!

My Views-

This match was swinging like a pendulum. First of all, DD started well, then RCB came back in the game, then again DD picked up quick wickets, RCB got in the game because of partnership between Kohli and De Villiers, then again DD came in took very quick wickets and managed to tie the match! The match should have finished in 38th over of the match required 42nd over for the result. Kohli and De Villiers batted so well but DD sneaked in very well. Eventually RCB won the match and more importantly DD lost their 5th consecutive match!
