Match Report-
It was the time for two Delhi captains to square up against each other, one playing for Kolkata and one for Banglore. Kohli(RCB) won the toss and elected to field first in the heat. They bowled pretty well ti start with. But Gambhir stayed there, and scored runs quickly. KKR was playing very risky cricket, taking dangerous singles-doubles. Kallis got out in 9th over and to everyone's surprise Yusuf Pathan was sent in ahead of Tiwary and Morgan. He started off with a boundary over bowler's head. He played nice little cameo to lift their scoring rate. But after he perished, KKR lost their wickets in heap. When Pathan got out KKR were 95/3 in 12.4 overs, but after that they just managed to score 154/8 in their 20 overs. Gambhir played well for his 59 runs. But didn't get any support from the other end. 154 looked like a decent total to defend on the track which was seaming a bit
But then came a Gaylestorm that took away the game from KKR completely. After loosing Agarwal early, Kohli and Gayle blasted KKR's slow bowlers and took the game away. Narine was pick of the bowlers, he kept Gayle quiet. But couldn't get him out. Balaji managed to take wicket of RCB captain, which after led to spat between Kohli and Gambhir. Nothing serious happened though. Gayle didn't slow down his game after that... He kept hitting the ball, he hit 9 massive sixes in his innings of 85(40) along with 4 fours. AB DeVilliers played a sensible innings, knocking the strike around. He scored 22(22), to see RCB home.

My Views-

The defending champion didn't play to their potential. They strangely left out Brett Lee! He would surely have been handy on that track. But never the less good win for RCB! They are looking a dangerous side to beat with Gayle and Kohli in sublime form! KKR have lost 2 from 3 matches that they played, I guess they want their owner's luck!! SRK wasn't seen in the stadium when KKR lost... So let's see what happens in the next game!
