Match Report-
RCB (unbeaten at Home) were going to take on the struggling PWI! It was a cloudy day! PWI won the toss and chose to bat first. After 1.2 overs the rain came in and continued till the end of first innings... For half hour it was PROPER rain but after that it was raining sixes at Chinnaswamy! RCB and their main desturctive player Chris Gayle broke many records. After the shower went over the ground Chris Gayle was on fire. He completed his 100 in just 30 balls, till then he had hit 11 sixes and 8 fours. He didn't stop after that as well, he continued to play his monstrous shots all around Chinnaswamy. 2 of his total 17 sixes were gone out of the stadium! With his Dilshan played sensible innings, not trying to maximize himself, he played a run-a-ball innings and gave the most of the strike to Gayle! When Luke Wright took the wicket of Dilshan, the score was 167/1 in just 13.4 overs. Kohli was run out early, thanks to some good athleticism of Dinda. AB de Villiers didn't try to settle in and got going straight away, he scored 31 off just 8 balls before Marsh took his wicket. Gayle was continuing his own game from the other end. Dinda gave away just 10 runs and took 2 wickets of Rampaul and Tiwary in last over. But still RCB managed to score 263/5 in their 20 overs, Gayle was not out on 175 in 66 balls with 17 sixes and 13 fours!!! Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Luke Wright were the only bowlers who gave under 7 runs per over with 23 and 26 runs in their 4 overs respectively!  .
PWI didn't put on the fight! Apart from Steve Smith no one got past 25 runs, as they lost by 130 runs. Uthappa was gone on second ball of the innings. Finch tried to score some runs hitting 2 fours on the first 2 balls that he faced. But he struggled after that. It was almost a reply of Watson's wicket (last match of RCB) as Murali Karthik took another good judged catch on the bowling of Rampaul to dismiss Finch! Marsh and S.Smith tried to form a partnership when the PWI were 42/4! They together scored 58 runs, to minimize the the margin. But Steve Smith failed after playing good innings of 41(31)! After that their innings just failed apart. They could only managed to score 133/9 ! Gayle was introduced to bowl the final over in which he took 2 wickets! Obviously CHRIS GAYLE was declared man of the match!

My Views-

It was one of the worst days for PWI! Apart from Bhuvi and Wright no one managed to stop the flow. Gayle milked all the bowlers for plenty. He was in his BEST DESTRUCTIVE MOOD that day! All the PWI bowlers were waiting for a miscue shot from Gayle which never came! Aaron Finch was hopeless. But they need to forget that day as early as they can, otherwise they won't be able to win a single match from there on!
PWI batsmen also couldn't manage to handle the pressure. It would have been a great fight if they were able to score at least 180+ while chasing. But that never happened!!! It was a GAYLE victory!! Even if other batsmen wouldn't have scored any runs, GAYLE would have won by 40 odd runs!!!
